Dean joined McEwen Gisvold as an associate in 1966 and has been a partner since 1972. Dean offers forty years of professional expertise in real estate, real estate finance and commercial law. He is included in the Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA America's Leading Lawyers for Business, and Super Lawyers. He is also a 20-year member of the prestigious American College of Real Estate Lawyers, a national organization of leading real estate attorneys.

After starting his legal career as Law Clerk to Justice Edwin J. Peterson of the Oregon Supreme Court, Don was hired as an associate with the firm in 1980, and has been a partner at McEwen Gisvold since 1985. Don represents clients in the areas of real estate, real estate finance, environmental law, business law and estate planning. Don has been named to The Best Lawyers in America, a Super Lawyer, is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and was identified by Chambers USA as one of Oregon’s leading real estate attorneys.

Barry represents a wide variety of clients, from small businesses and individuals to national corporations, in the areas of commercial leasing and the purchase and sale of businesses and real property. Barry regularly represents both landlords and tenants in the drafting, interpretation and enforcement of commercial leases. Barry also devotes part of his practice to commercial dispute resolution. Barry joined McEwen Gisvold in 1993 and has been the firm's managing partner since 2004.

A graduate of Harvard Law School, Ray has been a partner with McEwen Gisvold since 1985. Ray's emphases include representation of creditors and enforcement of creditors' rights, representation of business debtors in bankruptcy, and defense and repair of attorney malpractice in bankruptcy and debtor-creditor area. Ray is frequently a writer and speaker in the areas of bankruptcy and creditor's rights, and has been an adjunct professor of law at Willamette University.

Jan has over 20 years of expertise in real estate law, including finance, sales, leasing, work-outs, foreclosure and receiverships. She joined McEwen Gisvold as an associate in 1987 and has been a partner since 1994. Jan successfully represents the interests of lenders, buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in complex and multi-state transactions. She is a noted expert in real estate law, real estate financing, commercial financing and corporate law.

Janice joined McEwen Gisvold as an associate in 1990 and became a partner in 2001. Over the past 12 years, Janice has developed an expertise in working with various lenders in the documenting and handling of complex real estate finance transactions. Janice represents large and small lenders in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho in the documentation and negotiation of commercial and combination commercial/residential transactions, including home builder developments, low-income housing and retail, warehouse and industrial commercial real estate.

Alan has over 27 years of expertise in real estate transactions, general business and estate planning and administration. He represents a variety of clients from individuals and small businesses to large corporations. Alan frequently represents clients in multiple areas, coordinating their estate planning with their business and real property interests. He joined McEwen Gisvold as a partner in 2007.

John serves clients in the areas of real estate, real estate finance, business law, and estate planning. He represents the interests of lenders, buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in complex and multi-state transactions. John joined McEwen Gisvold as an associate in 2010.

Jenelle joined McEwen Gisvold as an associate in 2012. Her practice focuses on real estate transactions, business law, and estate planning.
